19th Birthday

I really did have a pretty great birthday. I got to spend one day doing fun stuff with Malsue and another day with my family.
On Tuesday, Malsue was able to come spend the day in Provo. The juniors had to take the ACT and everyone else had the day off. It worked out pretty well. I went and got her in the morning and we spent the whole day together. We got some really good bagels from the creamery on 9th, then she came with me to Book of Mormon. That day's lecture was a bit slow so we were a bit bored. The teacher is pretty funny but it was sorta boring. We had reservations at our favorite restaurant at 2. Until then we decided to go bum around the mall for a bit. We just hung out until it was time to go to the best place to eat, Tucanos. It is an all-you-can-eat buffet of wonderful meat that they bring to you on the sword things. It's awesome. We lasted for about an hour until we couldn't eat another bite. It was amazing. We always go for our birthdays. After Tucanos and stuffing our faces, we just hung out for a little while longer until it was time to take her to the train to go back and meet dad. It was a really fun day.
Wednesday was another great day. I just went about my usual school stuff, pretty uneventful. I took a nap, that was pretty nice. At about 7 that evening some friends and I had made plans to go to dinner. None of them had told me "happy birthday" or anything and I started to think they had forgotten. The plan was to go meet at Jenna's apartment and we would go from there. I was in for one of the best surprises of all! Jenna, Kaitlyn, and Brynn had planned with my mom to have the whole family come and surprise me! It was great, my whole family and Gam and Pa were there. Mom had made stew and bread sticks and brought cookie pizza for dessert. It was just perfect. I got a blue plaid shirt of Eddie Bauer that I've had my eye on for years, a few boxes of Thin Mints, golf balls, and gift cards to Eddie Bauer. Best store ever. My very best birthday present was getting the Jeep fixed. Long story short, some belt exploded and wrapped around my whole engine, stuff was spilling out of everywhere, it was bad, but we got it fixed. The Jeep remaining functional is really important.
It was a really great birthday. I would have some pictures, but my phone and computer are not communicating properly so I'll try later to get some pictures up.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped give me a great birthday!
