Fun last week

So this last week has been fun and full of animals for some reason. Last week for FHE we decided to rent a puppy. Best business idea ever. You call this puppy service and they deliver a puppy to you and you pay by the hour. Best therapy ever. So we rented a Border Collie puppy named Jax for about an hour and half last week. He was pretty cute! He was running around outside and ate a kid's soccer ball. He was really fun.

This week in church I had another run in with critters. April and I were sitting in the hall at church waiting to go in to Relief Society as a room full of guys was getting out. This really tall guy steps out close to April and I noticed that he had a chinchilla in his hand! They are so cute, they are like bunnies and squirrels and it sounds weird but they are pretty cute. Anyways I told April to ask him over and see if we could hold the little thing. She calls him over, we ask, and he's like "oh yeah sure" and PULLS A SECOND ONE OUT OF HIS BAG! We were laughing so hard. So this guy just carries chinchillas around in his bag like it's no big deal. I asked him why he did that. He said that he had them registered as therapy/comfort animals and he takes them to see kids in the hospital to brighten their day. Is that not the sweetest thing ever?

The ducks are returning to campus. Ducks are usually everywhere all the time, but the bit of cold weather scared them off or something. They have come back the last few days and they are just funny little creatures. The ducks are so used to people being on campus all the time, so they don't get scared when you go up to them. I almost pet one today. I got within about 6 inches when it figured out what I was doing. Next time...
